Casa Vitoriana - Restauro - Continuação

Boa noite.

Aqui estou de novo, para falar mais um pouco do restauro desta casa pertencente a tantas gerações.

A D. Ceuzinha afinal resolveu mudar o seu quarto para a divisão onde anteriormente era o escritório. Ela estava um pouco reticente já que naquela divisão se encontra a escada que dá acesso ao último andar, onde se situa a casa de banho e passaria a estar, talvez, o escritório ou um misto de escritório e sala de costura. Ela ainda não sabe bem.

Here I am again, to talk a little more about the restoration of this house belonging to so many generations.

Mrs. Ceuzinha finally decided to move her room to the room where the office used to be. She was a little reticent since in that room there is the staircase that gives access to the top floor, where the bathroom is located and would become, perhaps, the office or a mix of an office and a sewing room. She still doesn't know well.

Ainda lhe faltava estufar a cadeira de acordo com o estofo do banco do toucador e fazer a roupa da cama e respectiva colcha.

Esta parte ainda não estava resolvido na sua cabeça já que gostaria de uma colcha estilo romântico; sim que a avó Ceuzinha tinha ideias muito próprias e não abdicava de parte dos gostos da sua juventude.

He still had to stuff the chair up to the upholstery on the dressing table and make the bed linen and the corresponding bedspread.

This part was still unresolved in his head as he would like a romantic style quilt; yes, grandmother Ceuzinha had her own ideas and did not give up part of the tastes of her youth.

A neta, a menina Camilinha - nas aldeias do norte de Portugal, todas as figuras da terra são "inhas"😀  - estudante finalista de arquitectura e design - concordou em ajudar a avó nesta obra e reformaria o seu quarto de menina, que mantém lá em casa, adequando-o à sua idade e a um estilo diferente. 

Her granddaughter, Camilinha - in the villages of northern Portugal, all the figures of the land are "inhas"😀 - architecture and design finalist student - agreed to help her grandmother in this work and would renovate her little girl's room, which she keeps there at home, adapting it to your age and a different style.

Tentaria, das peças de mobiliário existentes lá em casa, aproveitar as que mais lhe agradasse e restaurá-las no estilo que estava pensando e que achava que se adequaria bem a uma casa de aldeia - o estilo conhecido como "Shabby Chic" ou uma decoração que lhe agradasse e que lhe lembrasse esse estilo.

He would try, from the pieces of furniture that were there at home, to take the ones that pleased him most and restore them in the style that he was thinking and that he thought would suit a village house well - the style known as "Shabby Chic" or a that you liked and that reminded you of that style.

Toda a mobília seria pintada de branco - facilmente, se podia mudar a decoração sem se mexer nos móveis - e o estilo seria lembrado por pequenos pormenores decorativos, bem como pela roupa da cama e cortinados, talvez. 

Seria um assunto a resolver à medida que o restauro se fosse efectuando.

All the furniture would be painted white - easily, if you could change the decor without moving the furniture - and the style would be remembered for small decorative details, as well as the bedding and curtains, perhaps.

It would be a matter to be resolved as the restoration takes place.
