De volta da minha Rústica - Around to my "Rústica"

Esta casa está situada na zona vinhateira do Douro. Foi herdada dos meus padrinhos - avós paternos - e recuperada.
Inicialmente, era loja de recolha de animais, no piso inferiror e habitação, no piso superior.
A cozinha apesar de ficar situada no piso inferior, não estava incluída na loja. Por ter sido toda recuperada para habitação não ficou com a traça tradicional daquela região.
This house is located in the Douro wine region. It was inherited from my godparents - grandparents - and recovered.
In the begin, in the ground floor, there is a store where the animals were collected and the "home" was in the upper floor. The kithen was in the ground floor but it was not included in the store.
Having been all recovered for housing, it isn't with the traditional outlines of that region.

Assim, no rés-do-chão, temos a cozinha e uma sala comum. A cozinha possui móveis e acessórios modernos: máquina de lavar louça, fogão eléctrico, frigorífico, micro-ondas, a fim de facilitar o dia a dia das férias.
So, in the ground floor, we have the kithen and a living room. There, I have modern furniture and accessories: dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave to make life easier, during the holidays.

Um dos blocos da bancada era uma mesa de apoio com duas prateleiras abertas. Não gostei do aspecto e resolvi fazer dois cestos, para arrumações diversas. Utilizei panamina crua, uma espécie de tela mas plastificada

I have deceided to make two baskets for a little support table. I used "panamina" cream, a kind of laminated fabric.

O resultado, na minha opinião foi bastante satisfatório.

In my opinion, the result was quite satisfactory.

Passo-a-passo de chapéus/DIY hats

Cobrir o molde com papel filme a fim de evitar de que o tecido se pegue, com a cola.

Cover the hat making form with cling film in order to prevent from sticking to the form.

Cortar um círculo no tecido escolhido. Este chapéu foi feito em feltro que necessita de ser molhado com água, unicamente. Quando seca fica rígido. Pode ser feito com qualquer tipo de tecido. Nesse caso, será molhado com cola diluída com água.

Cut a circle on the fabric chosen. This hat was made of felt which needs to be wet with water only. When dry it is hard. It can be done with any type of fabric. In this case, it will be wet with glue diluted with water.

Colocar o tecido na forma, ajeitando com as mãos dando-lhe a forma desejada para a copa.

Place the fabric in the form, smoothing with your hands giving it the desired shape for the crown.

Prender bem o tecido à forma, com fio de cozinha ou um elástico forte. Caso use outro tipo de fio, tenha em atenção que não debote para não manchar a tela.

Fasten the fabric to form, with kitchen string or a strong elastic. If you use another type of wire, note that no fade to avoid staining fabric.

Depois de seco, retirar da forma, dar o formato pretendido à aba ou cortar a copa a fim de se acrescentar a aba que se deseje.

Once dry, remove from the hat makinf form, give the desired format  or cut the cup in order to add the tab you want .

Os suportes dos chapéus foram feitos com palitos torneados e peças de bijuteria. E agora divirtam-se.
The hats stands were made with sticks and pieces of jewelry. And now, enjoy it.
